Police in the Omusati region arrested and 87 year old man after he allegedly raped his 14 year old granddaughter.
The incident happened at OshikuShomunkete village, Oshikuku.
Police reported that the suspect who was arrested on Monday and is a grand father to the victim had forceful intercourse with the girl after he invited her to his on different occasions.
The victim’s mother reported the incident to the police.
Suspect is expected to appear in the Outapi Magistrate’s Court today.
