Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) chief electoral officer Roger Nautoro says the party’s newly elected central committee is all-inclusive.
It includes people of all ages, genders and communities, he says.
Nautoro said this at the party’s headquarters in Windhoek on Tuesday.
“We are serious when we say we want to empower young people,” he said.
He said over 30% of the list comprises young people.
The PDM has elected 40 central committee members and 10 alternative members.
They were elected at an elective congress in the Zambezi region over the weekend.
