ALLOW me a space in your newspaper to comment on your article in Monday’s edition of The Namibian under the headline ‘Voice bells fall silent’.

It was interesting to note that the bells the late Lazarus Kandara “donated” to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Otjiwarongo were “removed and stored” – this despite assurances from the pastor of the pastor of the church that “these bells will not go down no matter what”, and that the church will not pay back the funds Kandara donated, as well as the statements made by the same pastor that they are an honest and transparent congregation.
