A church pastor at Swakopmund is facing charges of indecent assault after he allegedly sexually abused two female members of his flock.
According to a police report, the pastor is alleged to have been involved in indecent acts with two women, aged 31 and 37, at his home in the Mondesa area of Swakopmund between May and September this year.
The police stated in a crime report this week that the 34-year-old pastor allegedly instructed the two women on different occasions to remove their clothes and then touched their private parts, to which he applied supposed anointing water.
It is also alleged that the pastor massaged the two women under the pretext of healing them, the police reported.
The pastor has been arrested and is due to appear in the Swakopmund Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
