A young girl was allegedly raped by her pastor in the Ohangwena region.
The incident happened at a church at Omangela village.
According to police, the pastor, who has not yet been arrested as investigations are ongoing, raped the girl on two occasions.
“On the first occasion, the suspect sent the victim to collect a book from his sleeping room and he followed her in,” says Ohangwena region police deputy commissioner Bennet Muyambango.
On the second occasion, the suspect sent the girl to fetch him water in his house, and again, he followed her into the house and raped her, according to Muyambango.
