Oshana opens up voter register

THE Oshakati Town Council has appealed to voters at the town to visit the Oshana Regional Council offices to check if their names appear on the voter register.

Voters have also been urged to check if the information appearing on the voters’ roll is correct. The Oshakati Town Council Liaison Officer Loth Nehemia said the voters’ register was being displayed at the Oshana Regional Council offices for inspection.Nehemia said those whose names appeared on the register were welcome to make corrections in writing to the Magistrate’s Office at Oshakati, in accordance with Section 22 and 23 of the Electoral Act.”All registered voters are urgently requested to keenly inspect whether all your particulars are correctly reflected on the voters register, and submit your objections as soon as possible for rectification,” said Nehemia.The Oshakati Town Council Liaison Officer Loth Nehemia said the voters’ register was being displayed at the Oshana Regional Council offices for inspection.Nehemia said those whose names appeared on the register were welcome to make corrections in writing to the Magistrate’s Office at Oshakati, in accordance with Section 22 and 23 of the Electoral Act.”All registered voters are urgently requested to keenly inspect whether all your particulars are correctly reflected on the voters register, and submit your objections as soon as possible for rectification,” said Nehemia.
