Go ahead,” he charged. He claimed that the other members never bought a small item such as a whistle or even a writing pad for the association.”What else do you want to do?” he asked.Kamatuka said he was a professional and has other important matters to attend to and was also not concerned with the other members’ co-operation with the Omatjete Sport Association. He said the members could continue with their talks with the Omatjete Sport Association, but added that they “contravened rules and regulations of accepted norms and acted non-procedurally”.In a statement issued by seven other OSCA members, Kamatuka is accused of using the association’s money without the consent of the committee. He is also alleged not to have accounted for funds raised with the hosting of the May Cup, which featured football and netball tournaments. He is said not to have accounted for a total amount of N$6 000, of which some was supposed to serve as prize-money for the netball teams.Kamatuka is said to have ignored questions on the whereabouts of the money from the tournaments, while he also suspended three members from the association without the knowledge of the executive committee. The three members who got the boot are Kavitutjine Ratjama, treasurer Gerson Hipose and Daniel Hipose.Ratjama told The Namibian Sport on enquiry that they were not given reasons why they were suspended, but only received letters that stated they were no longer part of the executive committee. He said Kamatuka would be required to pay back the association’s money or steps would be taken against him.Kamatuka denied taking the money, saying that he has proof of how the money was spent and that he decided to boot the three members because they hardly attended any meetings of the body. The statement further claimed that Kamutuka nominated a certain Munionganda Kahuure as patron of the association without the consent of the executive committee in accordance with the body’s constitution.”Mr Nathanael Kamatuka, take note that from now on, you are not a valid president of the association until further notice,” the statement read. The association requested Kamatuka to return a cellphone and all documentation of the association within seven days.”We hereby also notify you that we are busy talking about peace and harmony with the Omatjete Sport Association and please, don’t get involved in this matter,” the statement read.Kamatuka is said to be at odds with the existence of the Omatjete Sports Association which, in his opinion, is in direct conflict with OSCA as both have similar objectives and at times clash over activities that are held in the respective areas they are stationed. The two members also accused Kamatuka of spreading a message that some of his members are “stupid and not schooled”.Kamatuka hit back by saying that he was not interested in “Mickey Mouse” business or jokes.”All your allegations have been noted and you will see later. You are not part and parcel of my co-leaders and I owe you nothing and I will not give you anything,” Kamatuka said in a handwritten reply. He said he does not want letters directed to him and he never said anything about the schooling of people. He added that he has witnesses who can testify to this.”I am not easily harassed and it will take 20 years to get me out of OSCA.Why not form your own association as you promised?
