Open Letter to All Political Parties

As we are preparing for the presidential and National Assenbly elections of 27 November, emotions and excitement about new leaders and campaigners are running high.

I ask of you that after all is said and done, after all your posters have been set up as advertisements to gain every vote possible on every lamp post, kiosk and notice board in every city, town, village and settlement, could you please clean up with that same energy you put into your campaigns?

As a fellow Namibian, I have seen countless times that banners and flyers are still being displayed months after elections.

To be regarded as a leader, one should lead by example.

Whatever the outcome, I believe it should also be your duty to see to it that our beautiful country is looked after and left in the state it was found.

Please keep our country clean.

Best regards,

Your Fellow Namibian
