Former professional road cyclist and two-time Namibian Olympian, Dan Craven, is bringing his award-winning Omaruru-based bicycle brand, Onguza to Windhoek for a unique pop-up shop at Bellhaus Atelier & Galerie from 12 to 22 October.

The shop, situated at 18 Bell Street in Windhoek, will showcase the brand’s world class, race-winning bicycles, handcrafted in Omaruru, alongside an immersive brand experience with a cafe in collaboration with Two Beards Coffee, limited edition merchandise and cycling kit from international cycling clothing brands Rapha and Pas Normal Studios.

“This groundbreaking endeavor represents a notable shift for Bellhaus Atelier & Galerie, aligning seamlessly with our overarching mission to nurture and embrace creative talents,” its owner Andrea Behnsen said.

“While the focus has traditionally revolved around hosting exhibitions, the gallery is now expanding its horizons to also serve as a dynamic atelier, dedicated to showcasing visionary entrepreneurs and artisans who channel their creative energies into crafting unique objects and experiences,” she added.

The Onguza pop-up will be hosting several events over the 10-day period: the official opening tomorrow afternoon, followed by an opening party at 18h00; as well as several morning coffee rides with Craven, and two ‘Art Supper Clubs’ where a truly Namibian fare will be served.
