Ongha, Haudano win on penalties

THE last two soccer matches of the 2016 FNB Classic Clashes took place the past weekend between Ongha and Nehale Secondary Schools as well as Okatana and Haudano Secondary Schools.

Ongha SS won 4-3 on penalties after they laboured to a 0-0 draw.

Ongha goalkeeper Martin Mukumangeni was crowned FNB Man of the match when he saved a penalty which was given to the visitors after a handball in the box. He also made a number of saves during the penalty shoot-out.

Saltiel Taleninawa was named Vigo Hero.

The match between Okatana SS and Haudano SS once again had to be determined by penalties as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

In the penalty shootout, Haudano clinched a 4-3 victory.

Jafet Jafet was named Vigo Hero and Benyamin Mathew FNB Man of the match. Both boys are from Okatana Secondary School.
