Pinehas NakazikoMulti-Genre singer Onesto has given us a fresh new single titled ‘Tala’ (which means look) to keep us entertained during this pandemic.
The ‘I Receive’ hitmaker, real name Onesmus Mwafangeo, dropped the second single complemented by a music video, which has almost everyone talking.
According to Onesto, the Afro-pop fusion talks about how he has broken his woman’s heart, and asks her not to curse or insult if she is breaking up because he believes she might want to come back later.
‘Tala’ is produced by one of the best producers in the country, Mr Gloh, who also features on song.
The video, which tells the story of a woman who found out that her fiancé was exposed on social media in steamy pictures of him and two other women, was directed by Miss Rose, who also appears as one of the actresses in the video.
The video, which was released three days ago, is doing well on YouTube, as it already has over 4 000 views.
Onesto says he is ready to drop more great videos such as ‘Tala’.
He says his second new single is a foretaste of what to expect on his much-anticipated second album, to be released soon. The album will consist of 10 tracks, he says. “The release date of the album is not yet fixed, but it will be between now and December,” says Onesto.
Onesto is known for his 2006 hot single titled ‘Ghetto Luv (I am from Ghetto)’, featuring Eddy. The song went viral on all music platforms and was one of the most-loved songs in 2006, as it received the most airplay on local radio.
In 2017, Onesto released his first studio album titled ‘Ondalila’, which had hit songs such as ‘Ombili’.
“I am doing something kinda different from my old music this time. I produced my last album like 90%, but this time I worked with different producers where most of the tracks are produced by S2, based at Otjiwarongo,” Onesto says.
