TWO journalists from One Africa Television are to visit the United States to report on American HIV-AIDS projects and research that relate to Namibia.

One Africa was the only television station in Africa to be selected for this programme. “Competition was tough, we had to come up with hot proposals and also qualify in terms of quality, independent and timely news reporting,” One Africa states in a press release. The journey will see the team travelling to different health institutions around the United States, where they will be filming and editing material to be broadcast in Namibia.A producer from the US State Department’s Office of Broadcast Services is assigned to the project, and is responsible for all planning, budgeting, interview arrangements and travelling with the team upon their arrival in the United States.”Competition was tough, we had to come up with hot proposals and also qualify in terms of quality, independent and timely news reporting,” One Africa states in a press release. The journey will see the team travelling to different health institutions around the United States, where they will be filming and editing material to be broadcast in Namibia.A producer from the US State Department’s Office of Broadcast Services is assigned to the project, and is responsible for all planning, budgeting, interview arrangements and travelling with the team upon their arrival in the United States.
