A man (49) handed himself over to the police after he allegedly shot dead his manager and injured another on Friday.

Oshana police commander commissioner Naftal Sakaria confirmed the incident, which took place at Henning Crusher at Ondangwa.

According to Sakaria, the deceased manager is 45 years old, while the second manager is 44 years old.

He said the suspect is facing murder and attempted murder charges.

“The suspect surrendered to the authorities shortly after the shooting, bringing the firearm used in the crime with him,” he said.

The injured manager was immediately transported to a hospital.

The names of the victims could not be released, since their next of kin have not been informed of the incident, Sakaria said.

He said the suspect will appear in the Ondangwa Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
