The Kalahari Sands Hotel and Casino recently made the following appointments: Sisco Auala has come on board as Guest Services Manager.
She has joined the marketing team and will be responsible for customer service and the public relations functions. Sisco has held numerous marketing positions, most notably as the Marketing Manager and Tourism Attaché for the Namibia Tourism Board.She also served as Chief Tourism Officer in the Directorate of Tourism, before the said directorate was changed to the Namibia Tourism Board.Victor Visser has joined the Kalahari Sands as Food and Beverage Manager and will ensure the Sands will maintain and build on its reputation of world class culinary delights.Victor is responsible for all food and beverage outlets in the hotel and believes feels training will be a crucial aspect of his success at the hotel.Originally from Cape Town, Victor has worked at the Victoria and Alfred Hotel as Food and Beverage Manager and at the Palace at the Lost City as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager.Sisco has held numerous marketing positions, most notably as the Marketing Manager and Tourism Attaché for the Namibia Tourism Board.She also served as Chief Tourism Officer in the Directorate of Tourism, before the said directorate was changed to the Namibia Tourism Board.
