I personally attended the launch party hosted by Telecom Namibia on Thursday, 23 November 2006. On 28 November 2006 PowerCom (Cell One) sent a letter to NCC Chairman David Imbili requesting clari?cation regarding the legality of Telecom Namibia’s actions. We are of the understanding that a Cabinet level meeting was held on Monday, 18 December 2006 to discuss this issue. We have absolute con?dence that both the NCC and Government will take the necessary actions in order to make certain that Telecom Namibia is acting within the law in a most timely manner.Mac Allman CEO PowerCom (Cell One)On 28 November 2006 PowerCom (Cell One) sent a letter to NCC Chairman David Imbili requesting clari?cation regarding the legality of Telecom Namibia’s actions. We are of the understanding that a Cabinet level meeting was held on Monday, 18 December 2006 to discuss this issue. We have absolute con?dence that both the NCC and Government will take the necessary actions in order to make certain that Telecom Namibia is acting within the law in a most timely manner.Mac Allman CEO PowerCom (Cell One)
