THE first seven town councillors of the new town of Omuthiya in the Oshikoto Region were sworn in by Tsumeb Magistrate Petrus Pendapala Nangula on Tuesday afternoon.
The councillors elected Hiskiel Nanyeni (Swapo) as the town’s first mayor, with Selma Nakaziko (Swapo) as his deputy.
