‘Omunahambo wange’ enters season 2

'Omunahambo wange' is Films­Icon's original series, which tells a story about a wealthy man living with his cattle herder.

The series is written, directed, and produced by actor Jackson Nghinamhito, well-known as Jacky Pop, who also plays the lead character.

“We screened episode 1 of the new season at the College of the Arts (Katutura campus) last month and we hope to continue the screening events in other towns since many people are demanding for the new season,” says Jacky Pop.

He says the screening was done by FilmsIcon.

“We are not done with the whole season yet, but we have covered much. We are going to the north to continue the shooting of our production.”

According to the actor, season 2 is a commercial project, and it will not be distributed as the previous season.

“Our vision is to be one of the leading producers and distributors of entertainment and information in Africa,” he says, adding they want to do more than just 'Omunahambo wange'.

“We want to put on more shows. So, we are currently seeking co-production partners and investors to join our production slate.”

In the first episode of season 2, Silver Bantuan, who plays the role of a cattle herder, has gone missing, Jacky Pop his boss is worried, and the search begins.

In the 'Omunahambo wange' episode, Jacky Pop teamed up with other actors and comedians such as Ndjeke yaMalimba, Cassie Jessica, and Thomas Shangula.

The first episode received positive comments and was well-viewed on all their social media platforms.
