ATG WHS Old Boys replaced Trustco United at the top of the T20 Premier League log after picking up two victories over the weekend.
On Saturday they beat Wanderers by three runs, while they beat CCD Tigers by seven wickets yesterday, to edge ahead of Trustco United on run aggregate at the top of the log.
After five matches both teams are now on 16 points with four wins and one loss each, while CCD are third on eight points and Wanderers still bottom of the log without a win from five matches.
On Saturday, Old Boys beat Wanderers by three runs in a high-scoring encounter.
After being sent in to bat Old Boys scored a sizable 177/6 off their 20 overs, with Louren Steenkamp leading the way with a superb century.
He was eventually out for 105 off only 59 balls (8×4, 7×6), and shared a 141-run partnership with Shaun Fouche (54) to put Old Boys in command.
For Wanderers, Jan-Izak de Villiers took three wickets for 28 runs and JJ Smit 2/30.
In reply, Wanderers came close to the target but eventually fell three runs short.
De Villiers led their onslaught with 56 off 30 balls (3×4, 3×6), while Waldo Smith added 38 not out and Jan Frylinck 23 as they reached 174/4.
Yesterday, Old Boys continued their winning ways with a seven-wicket victory against CCD Tigers after a great bowling spell by Adriaan Coetzee.

Only Simon Shikongo with 34 off 26 balls (5×4, 1×6) and Josue Celliers (12) managed to reach double figures.
In reply, Old Boys comfortably reached the winning target for the loss of three wickets, with nearly half their overs remaining.
Steenkamp continued his fine batting form scoring 42 not out.
United, meanwhile, suffered their first defeat of the season after going down by 23 runs to CCD on Saturday.
After electing to bat, CCD got off to a great start with Josuan Julius and Josue Celliers putting on 90 runs for the opening wicket at about eight runs per over.
Celliers was the first to go for 47 off 29 balls (4×4, 3×6), but Nicol Loftie-Eaton joined Julius in a 69-run partnership as they reached 165/2 off their 20 overs.
Julius was run out for 52 off 60 balls (4×4, 1×6), while Loftie-Eaton remained not out on 51 off 31 balls (4×4, 2×6).
In reply, United lost wickets at regular intervals as they steadily fell behind the required run rate.
Zane Green gave them a bit of hope with 48 off 34 balls (1×4, 3×6), while Gerhard Janse van Rensburg scored 27 off 24 (3×4), but they received little support before the whole team was out for 142 runs, still 23 runs short of the target.
