Ohangwena netball team ready to roll at Nedbank Namibian Newspaper Cup

Ohangwena region head coach Gideon Ndjukuma says his netball team is well prepared for the Nedbank Namibian Newspaper Cup slated for this weekend at Gobabis.

Ndjukuma on Wednesday said his team is better prepared than last year after a week of practising.

Despite wishing for more time to prepare, accommodation challenges have prevented the team from practising together, he said.

“We had a friendly match against the Oshana region yesterday. I am determined we can bring the trophy to the Ohangwena region for the first time,” he said.

Ndjukuma said the players are excited to be travelling to Gobabis for the first time.

Some participated in the event last year, while others are new members who joined this year, he said.
