A man at Ondobe, in the Ohangwena region, has been arrested after he allegedly raped a three-year-old boy.
The boy was admitted to the Eenhana hospital after he was sexually assaulted by the man who is employed as a cattle herder.
According to police, the boy’s grandmother found the Angolan man, who she employed and who lives with her, in the act of molesting the boy, who was sleeping in his room, at around 15h00.
“The child has been taken to the hospital, and the suspect will be appearing in the Eenhana Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday,” reports deputy commissioner Muyambango Bennet.
