Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) donated football equipment to the Kaizen Football Academy in Windhoek on Wednesday.
By providing playing gear, balls and other essential football items, NWR says it is doing its part in ongoing efforts to nurture young talent and promote physical well-being through sport.
“Understanding the power of sport in uniting and inspiring communities, NWR has actively supported youth sport programmes,” NWR spokesperson Nelson Ashipala says.
“The partnership with the Kaizen Football Academy reflects our dedication to promoting healthy lifestyles and providing opportunities for young athletes to develop their skills.
“By investing in education, sport, and environmental initiatives, we aim to foster growth, development, and sustainability within our communities. Academies such as these are where dreams are made, and dreams can be reached,” he says.
“Our goal is to inspire hope and make a tangible difference in the lives of our fellow Namibians.”
The donation forms part of NWR’s corporate social investment programme, and totals N$500 000.
It includes educational programmes and infrastructure improvement.
Notably, in the 2023 financial year, NWR built gardens at several schools, promoting agricultural education and food security.
