Nust hosts Cenored-backed career fair

The Namibia University of Science and Technology last week hosted its annual career fair, bringing together students, pupils and industry stakeholders, with Cenored continuing as the main sponsor for the third consecutive year.

The event, which started on Wednesday, aimed to bridge the gap between students and the job market, while creating opportunities for networking, career guidance and exposure to industries.

Nust student representative council spokesperson Saima Neshuku says the career fair plays a critical role in linking education and employment.

“It aims to expose students and pupils from various schools to potential employers, internship programmes, and career opportunities, while also helping them understand current job market expectations and trends,” she says.

Students gained valuable networking opportunities, access to internship opportunities, and insights into different career paths, Neshuku says.
