The congress of the National Unity Democratic Organisation (Nudo) is set to start around 14h00, after a delayed start on Saturday morning.
Nudo secretary general Joseph Kauandenge confirmed that the congress is going to happen despite talks of a postponement.
The congress was set to take place in April, but the party has admitted to lacking sufficient funds to address internal matters.
