I went to the State pension offices to apply for the Pension, which went well enough, but then requested information how I may obtain such a card. I was informed that I must go to United Africa, Kallie Roodt Street, and was given a telephone number, date 24 October 2006.Duly I phoned and to my surprise I was informed by a very friendly lady: “Yes, we do supply the cards, but the camera is broken. Please try again next year”.Dear Minister, is this the best service you are able to render to Namibia’s elderly?
