Victor Nghifindaka and Peter Shikongo won the fourth Windhoek Lager International Pairs Qualifier competition at the Windhoek Golf & Country Club over the weekend.
The pair won the tournament with a score of 45 points, with Devin van Rooyen and Stefanus Reitz finishing second on 44, after beating Chuka Okafor and Julian Stoffels on a count-out.
Chris van Lill and Gustav Jung came fourth on 43 points, followed by Charles Lohmann and Gary Stroebel, who won a count-out against four other pairs on 41 points.
Four nearest-to-the-pin prizes were also on offer with the winners being Nghifindaka on the third hole, Van Rooyen (ninth hole), Toady Gurirab (13th hole) and Stoffels (17th hole).
A total of 32 pairs competed for three qualifying spots.
The regional final will be played in August.
The Windhoek Golf & Country Club will host the fifth Windhoek Lager Monthly Medal competition this coming weekend.
