NFA Coaching Licence Course

NEXT week Monday the NFA will host a C-Licence Coaching Course at Soccer House.

The two-week course will run until July 22 and 35 coaches are expected to attend.According to NFA education officer Timothy Tjongarero, the course is aimed at training local coaches at the highest possible level.’Attending and passing this course will also pave the way for the coaches to attend further Caf/NFA C Licence courses later this year, which is every coach’s dream,’ Tjongarero said.The course will be conducted by NFA technical Director Klaus Stärk, coach William Kapukare and the Brave Gladiators’ Fifa-accredited coach Jacqui Shipanga.The theoretical sessions will be held at Soccer House Conference Hall while the practical part will take place at the Sam Nujoma Stadium.FITNESS COURSEAlso in the cards next week will be a fitness and conditioning course which will begin on Wednesday at 13h30 and continue until Saturday at 15h00.This is the first course on football fitness and conditioning to be held in Namibia. The NFA and Ministry of Sport will bring field expert Christoph Anrich from Germany to conduct the course.The fitness course will be attended by 24 coaches, two from each Premier League club, plus an additional 24 representing first-division clubs.Also attending the course will be all coaches involved with the national teams as well as recommended women’s football coaches.
