NEFF to abolish foreign land ownership

The Namibia Economic Freedom Fighters (NEFF) will abolish all forms of foreign land ownership if voted into the government.

The party plans to do this by placing all land ownership under the control of the state.

The party’s manifesto, launched in Windhoek on Saturday, states its aim to pass legislation to place all land under the custodianship of the state, which will then equitably be redistributed to Namibians.

“This will address and correct the apartheid-era colonial land distribution, which has persisted for 34 years,” the manifesto reads.
