Nedbank brings games to Newspaper Cup tournament

Nedbank Namibia has introduced a variety of interactive games to entertain students and children at the 2026 Nedbank Namibian Newspaper Cup tournament under way at Keetmanshoop.

The initiative aims to create a fun and engaging atmosphere while also encouraging young people to take advantage of banking opportunities.

According to Vistorina Kagola, a Nedbank employee at the event, the bank is opening accounts for students.

This includes youth accounts, student accounts, Gold Bundle accounts and 32-day notice deposit accounts.

She added that interested individuals can sign up for an account, with simple requirements such as a valid ID and a student card.

Nedbank Namibia continues to serve as the main sponsor of the tournament, playing a key role in supporting both the event and youth development initiatives across the country.
