NDP secures seat at Bukalo

The National Democratic Party (NDP) has secured one seat in the Bukalo local authority in the Zambezi region.
The party received 77 votes in the Bukalo local authority election, placing second after Swapo, which collected three seats with 254 votes.
The NDP out-performed the Independent Patriots for Change, which failed to secure any seat after receiving only 21 votes, and the Popular Democratic Movement, which managed to secure one seat after getting 28 votes.
This was announced by the Electoral Commission of Namibia on Thursday evening.
