Ndengu re-elected in Moses//Garoëb constituency

Swapo councillor for the Moses//Garoëb constituency in Windhoek Stefanus Ndengu has been re-elected in the regional council elections.

Ndengu received 7 676 votes, with Anna Itana of the Independent Patriots for Change in second place with 2 661 votes, and the Affirmative Repositioning’s Joseph Shishiveni in third place with 531 votes.

This was followed by Popular Democratic Movement candidate Ulrich Eiseb with 338 votes and Body of Christ’s Karen Willem with 96 votes.

Ndengu was declared duly elected councillor on Friday by Electoral Commission of Namibia chairperson Elsie Nghikembua. Update: Martin Endjala
