NC to hold public hearing on the Child Status bill

THE National Council’s Standing Committee on Gender, Youth and Information is to hold a three-day public hearing on the Children’s Status Bill.

The committee wants comments on whether the following sections sufficiently promote the purpose and principle of the Bill Section 1: Definition of ‘child’, Section 5: Review of Certain Decisions, Section 9: Presumption of Paternity, Section 11: Custody, Section 12: Guardianship, Section 13: Access, Section 18: Custody on Death of Custodian, and Section 19: Guardianship on Death of Guardian.
