TWO motorboats of the Namibian Navy sank in the naval base in Walvis Bay last week.The two powerboats known as Namacuras, used for general patrol purposes in and around the harbour, were tied to each other when the one furthest from the quay started taking in water and pulled the other one down as it began to sink.
On Thursday, a crane was used to lift the two boats out of the water and onto the quay.
