GENEVA – Valencia defender David Navarro was on Wednesday banned for seven months by UEFA for his part in the mass brawl during last week’s Champions League tie against Inter Milan.
Navarro, who punched Inter’s Nicolas Burdisso leaving him with a broken nose, has three days to appeal against a sanction.
