National Assembly takes a break

THE National Assembly went into recess on Thursday after passing 16 bills in the last session before the November elections.

Among them are: the Public Holidays Amendment Bill, Former Presidents’ Pension and Other Benefits Bill, National Heritage Bill, National Disability Council Bill, Prevention of Organised Crime Bill, Water Resources Management Bill, Local Authorities Amendment Bill, Roads Authority Amendment Bill, Stock Theft Amendment Bill and others.
