THE National Arts Council of Namibia on Friday appointed new council members in Windhoek.
In a media release, the council said the new members will serve for the next three years.
According to the statement, the National Arts Council of Namibia (NACN) is committed to providing arts and culture services to the creative and cultural industry.
“It is the NACN's mission to ensure the capacity building of experts in Namibia to support the growth of the thriving arts industry,” the statement reads.
The new board members are Felix Amporo, John Kasinda, Veronique B Kuchekana-Chirau, Gerard Vries, Manfred !Gaeb and Salome Idhenga.
