THE Namibia National Students Organisation (Nanso) has opposed the payment of full fees for Zoom lectures by higher learning institutions.
This was revealed in a statement issued by Nanso president Simon Taapopi, who said that the online teaching method reduces the quality of learning.
“Learners and students are still expected to pay full tuition fees to their institutions of higher learning, this greatly disenfranchises those who are in little positions to honour the payments.
Learning has changed as we know it,and so should our management and administrative approaches towards education,”said Taapopi.
The organisation says the full payment of tuition fees is a big scam and it envisages a favourable outcome where quality of learning enables learners to comprehend the knowledge and tuition fees do not marginalise students.
