President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has appointed Kristofine Nuunyango as adviser to minister of works and transport Veikko Nekundi, and as manager of the Public Asset Management Agency.
Nuunyango will serve in both capacities from 1 January to 21 March 2030.
The Presidency announced the appointment on Friday, stating that it was made in accordance with Article 32(3)(i)(hh) of the Constitution, read together with the Special Advisors and Regional Governors Appointment Act, 1990 (Act 6 of 1990), as amended.
Nandi-Ndaitwah expressed confidence and trust in Nuunyango’s ability, commitment and fairness.
She congratulated Nuunyango and said she looks forward to her contribution towards strengthening public asset management and supporting effective service delivery within the Ministry of Works and Transport.
