THE environmental management system (EMS) of the Namibian Ports Authority (NamPort) has been recommended for ISO 14001 certification after an assessment conducted at the end of August.
The conclusion and recommendation of the assessment was that the system was found to be well documented and implemented, said Jo Leitz, ISO Standards Consultant at NamPort.
