Namibia’s Who’s Who

A NEW book listing Namibia’s most prominent business and Government has been published. The book, ‘Who’s Who of Namibia’, will be published annually by Virtual Marketing, a research and marketing company based in Windhoek.

Virtual Marketing Managing Director and Editor of ‘Who’s Who in Namibia’, Thea Visser, said the publication was set to become the standard source of reference on a wide range of Namibian sectors. The colourful, magazine-style publication covers a wide range of sectors including Government, business, media, law, architects, medical and the arts.Taking into account that this was the first publication, Visser was upbeat about the future: “We are well aware that the 2005 edition is by no means comprehensive, perfect or representative, but it is a starting point.”Visser said the idea of such a publication was borne out of a need expressed by many for a comprehensive reference book on prominent Namibian people, businesses, companies and organisations.
