The inaugural MTC Branding and Marketing Excellence Awards have announced the nominees across its various categories, setting the stage for a ceremony poised to celebrate creativity, innovation, and impact within Namibia’s branding and marketing industry.
The awards received a total of 109 entries, of which 44 were nominated across 15 categories. Each category features three nominees, except for the best TV commercial of the year category, which has two nominees.
MTC marketing manager Tim Ekandjo has emphasised the integrity and rigour of the vetting process.
“All entries were vetted by an independent panel of judges through a research-led evaluation process,” he says.
“Before nomination, each entry is assessed on merit-based criteria such as innovation, creativity, market impact, and contribution to industry growth,” he says.
Two categories, namely the people’s brand of the year, which is currently open for public voting, and best exhibitor stand, are still open, and nominees and winners will be announced on the night of the awards ceremony.
The MTC Branding and Marketing Excellence Awards aim to establish a new benchmark for excellence in the industry by recognising brands and professionals who are pushing boundaries and delivering meaningful impact through their work.
The highly anticipated awards ceremony will take place at the MTC Branding and Marketing Indaba Gala Dinner at the Windhoek Country Club Resort on 10 April.
The event will bring together industry leaders, creatives, and key stakeholders to honour and celebrate excellence within Namibia’s dynamic branding and marketing landscape.
