Miss Universe Namibia 2025 Johanna Swartbooi has officially revealed her national costume in Thailand, marking a key moment in her Miss Universe journey.
The Miss Namibia Organisation, the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and Debmarine Namibia presented the outfit on Wednesday, describing it as a powerful visual celebration of the country’s cultural depth and natural beauty.
NBC acting head of public relations and marketing Beaulah Boois-Beukes said the design “captures the essence of a united and resilient nation,” highlighting elements inspired by the Quiver Tree, Khoisan beadwork and Namibian landscapes.
Swartbooi said wearing the costume on the global stage is profoundly symbolic. “It is a living celebration of who we are as Namibians: resilient, united, and beautifully diverse,” she said.
