The tournament started yesterday and runs till 15 December, during which time 28 men and 22 women’s teams from nine Southern African Development Community countries will vie for supremacy.
Namibia’s representatives earned their spots after stellar performances in the recently concluded 2024 MTC Volleyball National League and the Bank Windhoek NVF Cup.

“The federation wishes all the four clubs good fortune, travel mercies and all the best of luck with their games. May they represent Namibia with pride,” the NVF president Tobias Mwatelulo said in a statement.
“The tournament promises to be an exciting showcase of talent and sportsmanship, with Namibia eager to make its mark on the regional stage,” he continued.
“The Namibia Volleyball Federation extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the institutions funding these respective teams’ registration, accommodation, meals, attires and other associated costs. We appreciate their continued involvement in advancing the sport of volleyball in Namibia.”
