Football action returns this weekend when Round 1 of the Debmarine Namibia Premiership gets underway with matches throughout Namibia.

The defending champions African Stars kick off their campaign against Orlando Pirates at the Hage Geingob Rugby Stadium on Saturday afternoon, while there will also be matches at Swakopmund, Okahandja, Keetmanshoop, Rundu, Gobabis and Oshakati. 

The cricket season also gets underway with the Richelieu T20 Franchise tournament taking place at the United Sports Ground, with the Etosha Wildcats, Fish River Eagles, Windhoek Jets and Etosha Wildcats battling it out for honours. 

The Futsal Namibia League continues with matches at the Windhoek Showgrounds, as does the Namibia Hockey Premier League with matches at the WHS fields. 

The big match though will be in Toulouse, France tonight when Namibia take on the mighty All Blacks. Good luck Namibia, the whole nation will be right behind you!
