We once again have a busy weekend of sport lying ahead, featuring football, cricket, volleyball and hockey amongst others.

With the Namibia Premier Football League drawing towards its conclusion there are some crucial matches in store both in terms of the title race as well as the relegation battle. Log leaders Eeshoke Chula Chula and fourth-placed KK Palace travel to Windhoek to take on third-placed FC Ongos and Unam who have dropped down to eighth place, with all those encounters due to have a significant impact on the title race.

Second-placed African Stars, meanwhile, take on Bucks Buccaneers tonight and Okahandja United on Sunday and will be looking for maximum points to regain the lead.

The relegation battle will see some crucial matches with Life Fighters facing tough assignments against Blue Waters and Eleven Arrows at the coast, while Tigers and Young African travel to Rundu for encounters against Rundu Chiefs and Julinho Athletic.

The Southern Stream First Division and the FNB Women Super League also continue with matches in Windhoek, in the south and at the coast.

In cricket, the 50-over Premier League reaches its conclusion this weekend, with WHS Old Boys taking on United in a semifinal on Saturday, while the winner will face Wanderers in the final on Sunday.
