A packed sporting weekend lies in store with football, rugby, cycling and fistball topping the bill.

The Debmarine Namibia Premiership is nearing its conclusion with FC Ongos aiming to regain the lead from African Stars when they take on Okakarara Young Warriors and Julinho Sporting in the north.

Eeshoke Chula Chula and Mighty Gunners will also be in action when they travel to Windhoek to take on Civics and Tigers. 

The PstBet NFA Cup competition continues with the Southern Stream First Division preliminary round matches at Mariental on Saturday. 

The MTC Hopsol Youth Football League continues with matches at various fields in Windhoek. 

The FNB Women Super League continues at the NFA Centre at Katutura with the pick of the weekend’s matches the top of the log clash between FC Ongos and Beauties on Sunday afternoon. 

The rugby premiership continues with matches in Windhoek, Swakopmund and Rehoboth, as does the women’s rugby league with matches in Windhoek and Rehoboth. 

The Nedbank Windhoek Pedal Power Cycling series continues with the third leg on Sunday at Matchless Mine. 

The Namibian fistball league continues with matches at the Cohen Fistball Club in Windhoek.

And then Namibia’s national futsal team is in action at Afcon 2024 in Morocco, with their opening match against Mauritania tonight while they take on Egypt on Sunday, so good luck to the Brave 5s as they are called.
