Namibia signs Samoa Agreement

Namibia has officially signed the Samoa Agreement at the OACPS Secretariat in Brussels today.

The Secretary-General of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), H.E. Georges Rebelo Chikoti, has so far congratulated Namibia for appending its signature to the deal.

“The Director-General of the National Planning Commission in the office of the President, HE. Obeth Mbuipaha Kandjoze, signed the agreement on behalf of the Namibian Government,” said the OACPS on its official X handle.

The ceremony was attended by the Namibian Ambassador to Belgium, Dr. Mekondjo Kaapanda-Girnus and OACPS Assistant Secretary-General Banata Sow, the officer-in-charge representing the Secretary-General.
