NAMIBIA’S women’s hockey team held out to beat Zimbabwe 2-0 in its second encounter at the African Olympic qualifier in Nairobi, Kenya at the weekend, after going down 7-0 to South Africa on Saturday.
South Africa are leading the women group standings and are generally considered as favourites as they have also thrashed Nigeria 8-0 in their opening match on Saturday.
