The National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (Namcor) has appointed Mildred Hendricks to its board of directors.
This was confirmed in a statement issued by Namcor on Tuesday.
The statement highlights that Hendricks brings over 20 years of experience in legal affairs, having held key positions in various state-owned enterprises, including NamPost, the National Housing Enterprise and development financing institutions.
Hendricks holds a B.Iuris degree and an LLB from the University of the Western Cape. She has completed numerous specialised courses in financial management, compliance and risk management from institutions like the University of Stellenbosch Business School and the University of Johannesburg.
She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in law in banking at the University of South Africa.
