SOUTH African rapper Nadia Nakai will be hosting the seventh edition of the Weekend in the East event (Wite) on 1 June.
The event, which takes place every four months at Rundu, aims to promote local tourism, offering a weekend trip to the eastern part of the country every four months.
Organiser Ludgerus Amushila says the event supports tourism and hospitality services offered by AM Ludgerus Boutique Estate at Rundu, a gateway to the Kavango delta.
Previously, the event was hosted by local socialites Dillish Mathews, Dj Kboz, Dj Alba, Sharon Tjimbundu, Maria Nepembe and Michelle Mukuve.
“This edition we will have our first international host, Nadia Nakai, a well known influential and television personality from South Africa, with local Dj’s such as Dj B-Cul, Kallo On The Beat and many others,” Amushila says.
