Nabta postpones Windhoek transport meeting

A PUBLIC transport meeting that was supposed to be held in Windhoek yesterday was postponed indefinitely.

The President of the Namibia Bus and Taxi Association (Nabta), Magnus Nangombe, told The Namibian that the meeting could not held as it was not well co-ordinated. He said the meeting should last at least two days, so that issues can be addressed in depth.Nangombe said another reason for the postponement was that there were no lists of which institutions and people should be invited.Amongst other things, the meeting was scheduled to touch on the need for land for Nabta to establish loading terminals in towns.
